Waiting for the Storm to Pass....

....ever been to one of those points when you just feel you need to get away for awhile. Well I feel like I'm at one of those points. I'm ready to just get away from all the worries and just try and relax and forget about what's going on down here. The world is in such a bad shape and it's so troublesome to think of everything that's going on. My mind seems to be in a whirlwind lately, just waiting for storm to pass. I bought this wall art the other day at Kirkalnds and it said "Life is not about waiting for the storm to pass but about learning to dance in the storm." That saying has really helped me over the pass couple of days.

I love my family and pray that I can be there for them when they need me. I'm not much help, but I want to try. They mean the world to me and I would do anything for them. Me and Dustin have encountered some storms over the years, but it has only made uis closer.

I just wanted to say that I'm thankful for the Lord and where He has brought me and my family. I wouldn't be where I am today without Him.

Hope you all find some way to stay cool in this HOT weather! Come visit us at Huntsville for our revival coming up this next weekend.

Love the thought of learning to dance in the storm!

But one other thought comes to mind (actually one song comes to mind - somehow He often speaks to me in song - bet Dustin understands that!)

Sometimes He calms the storm,
Sometimes he calms me.
Sometimes the storm still rages on,
But I feel the sweetest peace.
It's such a joy to know that my Lord knows just what I need,
Sometimes He calms the storm,
Sometimes He calms me.

There is definitely a "stormcloud" kind of feel in the air, and like you, some days I'd just like to run - but I've weathered the storms before, and the sunshine on the other side is worth every raindrop - and He never let go of my hand while winds were blowing. I think somebody wrote a song about that too. ;-)

He's got a stronger hold on you than you have on Him. Isn't that a great thought?

Thanks for the encouraging words. I love reading your comments, they always have some inspiration in them and are very encouraging. I know He always comes on time.
